What Short Shall I Make?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fkHWZoW8_kE

First of all, you have to be actually AWAKENED and somewhat WILLING to do the work, and clearly, if you’re reading this, you’re ready. I’ll assume so, and give you what I’ve got so far:

  • IT DOESN’T BLOODY MATTER — the substance of your video is entirely immaterial. You can make a short about ANYTHING and, as long as it’s around 15 seconds long, it will do well.
  • YOU CAN’T SCREW IT UP — There’s no way to actually bung-up the works. You can’t possibly make a mistake and if you do, it will be counted as a feature, so get your head out of that particular cloud and just do whatever seems like it might be FUN to do and, yes, I did say “fun” — Fun is an ESSENTIAL part of the “Shorts” exercise.
  • LOOSEN UP — Take it easy on the thinking, and let the EMOTIONAL CENTRUM come up with some whizz-bang doozies for a change.
  • BE REAL — Look for the positive and find the goodness about it, and DON’T focus on yourself, focus on the SUBJECT.

A Safe, Fun & Nonviolent INSPIRATIONAL Video Game!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xt8SJk9sJWY

Safe, fun, nonviolent and yet interesting enough to capture the attention for quite a while — that was the goal of this videogame created specifically for young children.

It has all sorts of experiences and fun treasures to get, surprises from elves, fairies and other beneficent characters found throughout the land.

How can a video game without at least SOME sort of violence possibly be interesting enough to capture the attention of a very young child? Continue reading

Who Likes #short #shorts???

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lPoJPa-shyI&feature=youtu.be

The answer is, of course, “We like short-shorts”, to complete the song lyric from the doo-wop days when Dick Clark was King, but much stuff has flowed under the thing since then.

I’ve spent the past few days and nights trying to load around 100 #shorts onto youtube in a number of different channels, notably ejgoldguru, gorebagg, gorby’s shorts — and I’m planning to put a bunch of sci-fi #shorts on galaxyezine when I get the chance.

Some of my #shorts have gotten two thousand views, most get nothing or just a few nibbles, but the night is yet young, and we shall see what happens after a few days of hanging around.

I’m not sure any of them have made the “short shelf” and I really don’t care — it’s enough to know that one or more of you in our work circle will hit the million-mark.

That’s the game, or should I say, that’s The Game. Continue reading

New Way to Market Books!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jmC99FUIBaw&feature=youtu.be

Yep, I’ve stumbled on a new way to market books, but first, you have to try to understand that the #shorts are what make this world go around at the moment.

#shorts get the crowd, get plenty of views, far more than ordinary landscape videos, and surely more than the over-sixty-seconds group of videos, which is most of them. Continue reading

How to Market a Video Game

Your total job is to make people aware of our Work. Period. How you do this is entirely up to you and to the luck of the draw which creates your specific place in the world.

One way to make people aware of the Work is to put them right into it, and one of the best ways to do this is to introduce them to the world of spiritual gaming.

Okay, let’s say that you have in your hands the world’s best, most amazing, astounding, incredible and fantastic video game and that playing this game offers a PORTAL into the spirit world, and you can prove it and you have thousands of testimonials testifying to that fact.

You have in your virtual hands the Perfect Spiritual Video Game. But there’s a problem. Nobody wants to even LOOK at it, let alone download it and play it and join a LIVE community of avid players and tell all their friends about it on twitter and facebook and instagram and all those other social media networks.

Yes, you have it right there in front of you, and nobody wants to play your stupid game. So what are ya gonna do? Where will you go? What will you do?

Frankly, my dear, no one gives a damn. Continue reading

Promotion

Here are some good “target urls” that could be made into landing pages, selling pages, productive pages.

ask hives — This could be made into a gallery where you could buy signed and numbered prints on fine art paper, at a mere $50 apiece, for instance, for the small ones — 5″x7″ — and more for larger prints, of course. An enterprising person could add framing, which is where all the profit is in print dealing. You’ll sell anything just to get the framing job, and that’s a great side-hustle in itself. The List

If you want to promote a book, use the sales page as your target, or “landing” page. These people are NOT verified by me as good, effective or reliable, but I will test them and report back to you on results.

The first on the list, although not necessarily better than the others, is “pronomics”, which promises an interview on iHeart radio — you can listen for yourself to see if if meets your expectations, but the real test is, “did you sell any books???”.

The result of any sales campaign should be checkable by reviewing the increase in sales during the campaign. Continue reading

Is Your Promotion Shit, Gold or Dope?

If you didn’t understand a word of that title — shit, gold or dope — you’re not alone. You have plenty of company in your fellow baby boomers, and you’d be totally lost in the Brave New World of social media and 21st century marketing, which is very social, if you get my meaning, but the sociality is 100% artificial, like the life.

In short, you don’t speak the language anymore, dude. You’re utterly clueless in a world of swiping thumbs and shorthand text-style speech. You don’t know how to cope with a world that’s all masked up and socially distanced.

So you need to hire somebody to help you get your stuff out there. You can’t do it with what you’ve always done. It don’t work no more, and Windows 10 is your enemy. Continue reading

develop 2d and 3d game in any platform

This is just one example of the kind of building this guy does — mostly Kibri Kits and City Classics style, looks like a miniature train layout, which is exactly what we want, only we want it for the iphone and android, and our game engine just doesn’t go like that, we only do PC games with the Godd™ engine, and I’m not trained to handle the Unity engine, although I’ve tried.

Here’s an interesting possibility… This guy, firasferjen319, claims he can write the whole game in any platform — for android, ios, windows hd, and here’s the problem it solves:

We don’t have any way of rewriting our games as an android or iphone game. The best thing would be to simply copy the game over from PC to a smartphone platform, so I’d send him my game and ask him to come as close as possible to it. Continue reading
