My longtime friend Leonard Nimoy has passed from the organic world into the Between-Lives State. His lifelong quest to understand the Mystery of the Shekinah has just begun in earnest. In the Between-Lives State, the Shekinah is hard to avoid.
Leonard is embarking now on a journey far more difficult and dangerous than anything he encountered at NBC or Paramount on that never-ending five-year mission to explore and find cool civilizations and to go where no man has gone before.
No human can go where he is now — you have to leave all that flesh-and-blood behind when you journey out into the Voidness of the Void.
Not many folks know about Leonard’s “Search for the Shekinah” photo project. I have several of his more stunning photos, and keep them on display. The Shekinah is part of the secret traditions of Judaism. Both Nimoy and Shatner were born Jewish, as was most of Hollywood stardom, although you mostly wouldn’t know it.
Leonard was deeply spiritualized and very alive, interested in everything, and had a sense of humor that is hard to match.
Bjo Trimble saved Star Trek. You’d never hear the name, and it would never have survived the lukewarm reception it got from the sponsors for the first three years. The movies would never have been made, and there’d be no second, third or fourth generation.
Your agent calls, says, “I’ve got a part for you on Star Trek. You play a yeoman.” Right away you calculate a maximum of ten seconds of screen-time, not enough for your Big Break, just enough exposure to tantalize the dream of stardom on the Small Screen.
Okay, Leonard, brace yourself for Mr. Wild’s Riled Toad Ride.
See You At The Top!!!
