I mentioned in yesterday’s blog that if one does not actually DO the Practice, it’s worthless and one cannot blame the Teacher. Boy, is this an important idea. You read about the Practice. You hear about the Practice. You study the Practice, and in the end, you must DO the Practice or give it up. I’ll elaborate on the subject…
1. You hear someone talking about work ideas and it sounds interesting and exciting, which it isn’t, but thank your lucky stars you don’t know that yet, or you’d just plain give up right here before you even start.
2. You read a book, watch a couple of videos on youtube and read what your friends say about it on facebook, the final arbiter of human social interaction.
3. You hear a lecture, radio show, interview, something that indicates that something might be there, but doesn’t indicate exactly what it might be.
4. You hesitantly buy a small, inexpensive amulet, just to try.
5. Good things suddenly happen, and now you’re really interested, want to know what more there may be in the goodies box under the CQR tree.
6. You ask around, and find out about the Ashram.
7. You are told that the work you’ll be doing is largely in the Ashram, although you might want to sell greeting cards or operate a small business as part of your Practice, like Eric and Tamara and Ken and I do, and like Lee and Charles used to do in a gallery space.
8. You bring your Avatar into the Ashram and hook him or her or it up to the grist mill, hoping for the same results or better that you’d get from using a bead mala, and that’s exactly what does happen; you get the Merit from the work, plus the Merit for the work you do for others, a double whammy Merit-Hit.
The thing is, the way it’s set up, you can’t possibly earn enough Merit in the ordinary spiritual ways. You need to know a few tricks to jump the cables and juice your work about ten times what the ordinary worker could do, and that’s accomplished not by learning some strange new Tantric technique or a super-secret wyrding spellcraft.
No, indeed. You can learn everything you need to know and master every magickal technology in the known and unknown metaverse, but it won’t be nearly as efficient and effective as the method I’m indicating to you:
Put your Avatar to work in the Ashram. Take full responsibility for bringing your Avatar to each place of Obligation (Obrigado).
Now, isn’t that bone-head simple? It’s as simple as writing a 4-chord song, only a 4-chord song doesn’t get you yanked up by your topknot into the Great Work.
Well, putting your Avatar into the Ashram work program and keeping it there will get you yanked up by the proverbial top-knot into the Great Work, and that’s a promise that I can deliver. When have I ever failed to deliver as promised?
Right. So presumably your next move would be to find out what the heck the work program in the Ashram is, anyway.
I’ll make it easy for you.
Tamara and I have been working for the past few days Post-Shift to come up with a spreadsheet that shows you at a glance what’s happening today, and what’s happening all week long, hour by hour.
It’s sort of an Ashram Day-Book, and it’s pretty accurate most of the time, but there are holes which change from day to day and from week to week.
That will all settle down, once the Side-Trippers adjust to the New Reality.
It’s easy if you try, to coin a Beatle phrase of ancient days gone by. SpaceBuddhaa asked me if there could be a “The Practice” Orb, and I will see if one can be worked out, but basically, placing and keeping your Avatar in the Ashram is the very best Practice you can perform.
It’s your willingness, your participation, your openness, your help, your offerings, your prayers and your excitement at just being there in that space is what makes it all work.
There are so many ways to earn Merit in the Ashram, why waste your time trying to earn Merit at the local supermarket?
The way you can earn Merit from the Orbs is to use the Orb to help another or others. This always works best, and when you work in a team circle, you get compound interest, more than each would earn if they performed the obligation separately. This is clearly and visibly true at the T’ai Ch’i and Rhythmics Movements dojos.
If we built the Ashram in brick-and-mortar, we’d be into it for several tens of billions of dollars, and it would have nothing like the effect you get in quantum world connection through the Ashram.
It’s out-of-this-world technology, quite literally. Back on my Homeworld, we used it all the time, and I’ve brought it here, taking advantage of — well, actually, exploiting — the local science, such as it is.
I’ll tell you a tale of castaways on a desert isle.
Three hour tour, my ass. I’ve been here over a week now, and we’ve seen no sign of a rescue ship or a plane. I sure hope the Skipper and the Professor figure out something, before we have a ripper of a hurricane and no shelter!
Ah, but in the Ashram, it never rains.
That means a lot of outdoor cafes, right? It does, and not just cafes. There’s a big outdoor concert park upstairs, and you’d do well to locate it soon. We’ll be using it for some events; I have replaced some events with events that I am accustomed to performing on this side of The Shift. The Cloister meets every day at 7:00 am until about 8:30 am to discuss business and share planned activities for the day. No Cloister member is excused from this obligation, so if you see a Cloister member scheduled at that time, such as Panniy, realize that they set the event going, and then must immediately retire to the Cloister Meeting in time to be there precisely at 7:00 am; no excuses, period.
so after the class or event is set in motion, you’re on your own, or you can reschedule the event to prevent Cloister Members from experiencing conflicting scheduling.
Here are some of the Obligation Work Events in which you are invited to participate:

In addition to these fixed daily events, you will discover many special events and some unannounced impromptu events that you can find out about very reliably, by merely following my twitter. SpaceBuddhaa has the responsibility to get all the messages out there to you; I’m responsible for making sure she knows what’s happening and when, and we’re in good contact, so you will be informed, count upon it.
There are also events that just cannot be announced because unless you’re actually here in flesh-and-blood in the brick-and-mortar environment, it’s futile to mention it; along those lines are the Celtic Faire and the trunk show at Mana Beads.
Moreover, I’ve left a lot of spots open for anyone who wants to jump in with a daily or weekly event. Monthly events are hard to schedule. Weekly events are a lot easier, so I’m more inclined to accept them than monthly items that create an unwieldy calendar.
I may decide to pre-empt things on occasion, but won’t unless it’s important. The most vital concept in the daily scheduling is:
No two events shall be in conflict in the Ashram, on livestream or in Flesh-and-Blood Brick & Mortar.
This means that if I’m going to give a concert at 4:00 pm in the Ashram and on livestream, you can’t schedule an ABD course at 5:30 pm and expect to get it listed. It ain’t gonna happen.
No two events shall ever be in conflict, and that includes all manner of things and all manner of presentations. This is of course to ensure the greatest possible number of participants in each event, but it also resolves conflict in the attendees who would otherwise be forced to choose one over the other, and nobody wants that to happen.
Guilt, shame, regret, remorse, confusion. All because somebody was too lazy to separate the time-zones of two or more conflicting events. Just don’t do it.
I’ve asked AuntieMatter to organize and run the daily schedule, and she has agreed to take that task on, and it’s a big job with powerful effects and reverberations. Warning: I told her to ignore any outright threats and intimidations, and she’s taking an in-World Marsha Larts Workouts at the dojo, so I think she’ll do well in the admin chair. Her right mouse button packs a mean whallop.
Speaking of boxing, I know that SpaceBuddhaa was once a champion boxer, and I’ve been meaning for a while now to demonstrate some of the boxing skill builders that I was shown by my Grandpa Herman’s close friend, Sugar Ray Leonard, who gave me a pair of championship match gloves signed to me by him back in the day.
The moves might someday prove useful.
With this new improved body, I’ll be able to not only demonstrate my fencing techniques, but I can actually get the fencing gear on this slim, trim body that is a full inch and a half taller than previous measurements, to the total consternation of my medical service professionals, the ones who weigh you and measure your height before you go into the exam room right?
OTHER RELATED PRACTICES THAT COUNT AS PRACTICES:
1. Orb Running — this is a powerful practice and is probably the best Merit-Earner you have in your Bardo-Runner’s Fanny-Pack (available from Tattoo-Fashions for $49.95 handpainted & signed).
2. ABD Readings — easily far and away the best Merit-Earner for the BiT (Bodhisattva in Training). Powerful results from powerful efforts.
3. Prayers — All manner of prayer works here, especially for the benefit of others.
4. Dance Movements & Rhthmics — a sneaky way to magnify and elevate your other efforts, especially when performed with the Didge, Drums & Bells in Healing or Raga.
5. Healing — your efforts in this area will produce good Merit.
6. Inductions — Absolutely essential (pun very much intended) to increase the intensity of Merit-Clocking, about a 200% increase in power as a result of using inductions for opening, metaprogramming or performing any Extra-Dimensional operation.
7. Soul Travel — Astral and other levels of travel are very useful for skill-building; Soul Travel in and of itself confers no Merit, but can open the doors to opportunities for earning Merit in the Astral or Causal Planes.
8. Music — always terrific Merit-Builder, especially when performed in a circle, and allowing others to participate in the music-making adds spice and higher potential to your Merit-Earning Skills.
9. Lectures — If anyone does anything for the benefit of any other being as a result of attending your lecture, you get the Merit.
10. Personal Exercises — these can include inner and outer exercises given privately to you or ones that you have elected to take upon yourself and have dedicated a specific time and place to its performance, reliably at the same time each day without fail.
11. Entrepreneurial Exercises — Undoubtedly the best choice for Bodhisattva Initiates and Hopefuls, this puts you right in the face of those needing the most help. If you really want some serious unbeatable challenge in this area, try to get a street-zombie interested in the vibes of your SuperBeacon.
12. Movements & Rhythmics — both practice and demonstrations will work for Merit, because with the movements, you’re energizing angelic work forces; the rhythmics also have added Meritorious Service punch and are perfect for spirit healing practices.
13. Greeting Card Sales — Wow, there’s nothing better to teach you the basics of Bardo Running, Encounter Skills and the higher levels of real Tantra, not American Tantra. Real Tantra has more to do with sex energy than sex-play.
14. Seated or Moving Meditation — Hey, it’s “me-time” unless you know how to implement a working prayer for another’s benefit into your mantra-weaving, so without the skills to insert a power-prayer into it, you get nothing for simple meditation but a feeling of well-being that can easily be outmached with three minutes on a SuperBeacon.
15. Didge and Bells — Yeah, right on, now you’re catching on, bud! This practice, if performed as prayer, will give you the power to make things right! Power Prayer Healing is a great practice, and I highly recommend it for anyone doing body work or psychic counseling, life-counseling or any variant of the above.
16. Watching videos — Doesn’t sound very promising, does it? But if you know how to do it, you can make watching videos part of your Work Practice. How? By watching videos for the benefit of others. How do you do that? Ask SpaceBuddhaa, she can act as your Guide in this difficult but rewarding area.
17. Guiding — Speaking of Guiding, how about doing some Guide Duty in the Ashram? Maybe take on a class or an event, run something, do some busking in the busker plaza, take on the task of … wait, wait… I just thought of the best ever:
18. SHARE my BLOG. Jesus, that’s so bloody obvious, I left it out until now. My Blogs carry Baraka, Merit, with them. The farther you get it out there with the widest possible wave-spread, the more Merit you will earn by this act. Wow, it’s so simple, but it’s maybe the most likely to produce the work-results you want. It helps you and it helps the work community, the Sangha, which includes dozens of communities around the world, from India to America.
19. DONATE — Sure, it sounds silly to even mention it, but most folks don’t realize that when they donate to my work, they gain the Merit that their dollars earn. In short, when you make it possible for me to do good works, you do the good works right alongside me.
20. SHOW UP — I saved the Best for Last. Just show up. Participate. Join, Share, Comment, Like, Subscribe & Friend Me.
21. ATTEND A CONVENTION — Seems so simple, and like so much fun. You get to eat my special meals, prepared by me, at Gorby’s Cafe. You hear music at the Cafe and get to attend dozens of events that online folks can’t possibly attend, such as the Friday Art Class, an important part of my week, and powerful Merit-Earning capacity for all involved.
Hey, are you addicted to rejection? No faster way to get it than to put a delicate instrument like a SuperBeacon or an ammie or Matrix in the hands of a Neanderthal, and then ask them their opinion of the thing.
You’re in for some jolly times, if you’re planning on evoking a higher emotional reaction from a club-wielding ape-descendent on a busy and crowded city street.
If you don’t want your hat squashed down around your ears just before you’re tarred and feathered and run out of town on a rail, be aware that you should not be showering the environment with your spiritual acitivities.
Actually, it’s your job to use Dr. Paul’s Method to locate the roundies, the Real Ones, the Players, to pick them out from the crowd of flatties and zombies. You are training yourself to find those Real Beings, who can actually use the gear and will be receptive to it and willing to experiment with it to learn how to use and master it., and those folks who appreciate the SuperBeacon will tend to be very psychic-sensitive, not prone to chatter or negativity, not at all scared to look and think and act and feel outside the box.
Dr. Paul has agreed to demonstrate his technique at the Labor Day Convention. I’ve seen it in action, and if nothing else, you’ll make a few hundred bucks a day by following his method.
So don’t mess with the flatties, they’re not interested in anything you’re selling or anything you have to say. FIND THE PLAYERS, and leave the non-player characters alone.
The PLAYERS are your people. Go thou among the Great Unwashed and find The Real Ones and reveal to them the secrets of the MetaVerse.
There are many other areas of potential Merit, especially in the kitchen and the home in general. Opportunities for hospitality abound, if you have an open heart and a clear mind.
Gosh, I guess That’s the Big Catch, isn’t it? Wish I could do it for you, but I can’t.
See You At The Top!!!
