You might already know that I’m testing out my incredible and fascinating Animated Greenscreens that I use for my youtube videos.
Using youtube was, for me, the easiest route to achieving a viewable result, and it would be for me the simplest to actualize in a continuing way, meaning workshops and talks.
What I wanted was a way to create excitement in the viewer, animating the viewer into following the hotlink to some downloading type website, where we could monitor the traffic and try to anticipate its source.
The best way to count clickthroughs is with sales, so what I got was Etsy, where I can plant downloadables that folks can get online, right away, for just pennies — actually 99 cents a unit — and in that way, I could monitor the traffic and therefore see the effect, which is the click-through that results in a sale for the said “downloadables”, which ends up in my sales account and forms a tangible evidentiary indicator that I made something happen.
…And what exactly is in those aforementioned “downloadables” on my Etsy page?
I’ll not only tell you what I’m selling — I’ll show them to you with color, sound and animation. I’m selling green screen still and animated backgrounds, which when I started using them, brought my stats right through the roof, so I decided to tell YOU about it.
Animated greenscreens are amazing, but they have to be engineered, so that the animation doesn’t crowd out the rest of the message, and so the action is on the sides, not the center, of the screen.
The center of the screen is for the talking head — that’s you.

If you want to appear in the center of the Roman Forum in 32 A.D., where you pitch ancient Roman coins in acrylic bezels with 18k bail loops, you could, with the touch of a button.
It’s much more than a picture. The animation brings the background into the present. Clouds move, water sprays, torches flicker and things move, to help you create the illusion that it’s all happening in the Here & Now.
So ultimately I’m a Purveyor of Green Screens.
Not a very lofty ambition, I admit — a rather humble profession, more or less in the commoner trades, but still a part of the general mayhem of the marketkplace.
Oops, did I say “marketkplace”? What I must of course have meant is “marketplace” — there, that sounds better, or would, if I were typing aloud.
Luckily, my fingers are hovering over the “home row” keys. Were they slightly askew on key to the right, oy epi;f ;ppl ,ptr ;olr yjod/, meaning “it would look like this”, if you skewed the letters back to the left one unit.
So if I were using my system to promote and sell ancient Roman artifacts such as bronze ae coins, I could plant myself in front of any of a dozen fancy Roman buildings, or inside the Baths of Caracalla, or in an ancient villa, and show my coins, flash them on-screen, and sell right from there.
I could also make it known that I appear to customers not only in ancient Rome, but I’m wearing a toga.
The toga may be a bit much, but you get the concept, right?

Keep in mind that the sale of items is not the point, not at all the point. I’m creating here a system of personal confidence that really works, really has a terrific effect.
Every click-through from your youtube video to your sales page on Etsy can result in a sale, and personal validation for your efforts as a Being.
The whole point is to not only CAUSE an effect, but to also SEE the effect, and what better way to monitor your sucessful effects than to mark them with a sale.
Your customer is not only looking at your video, they’re giving you support, and that should go a long, long way to restoring your Confidence as a Being, and that’s the whole point of this exercise.
The Etsy sale confirms your efforts and indicates that you have actually caused a definite effect, and that effect has a definite reverberation in your handling of your affairs.
The whole idea is to SEE and FEEL the effect you’re having on your environment, and to increase the effect slowly, bit by bit, until you feel that you’re having enough effect.
At that point, you need to reduce the ego so that you can get the benefits of high self-esteem backed by the personal esteem extended toward others — that’s the secret key.
The trick is to achieve a balance between the widescreen videos and the shorts — widescreen gives more and better information and visuals, and the shorts get the hits with the potential for very high hits if you get lucky on the #Shorts Shelf, which isn’t too likely, but it’s worth a try, something like a lottery ticket only there’s no money involved.
The thing is, even though the shorts go down fast unless they’re instant hits — you only get 20 minutes to break through to remain on the Shelf for a little longer, as long as you get lots of hits.

After that, your short is dead in the water, although it may get a few views here and there. You’d better fix your titles, that’s where the problem lies.
The main thing to get lots of hits is wild color, lots of movement, and a bam, bam bam style of music — the more recognizable, the more likely to get hits. I only use our own music, which limits my audience greatly, but my aim is not for personal success.
I’m here to deliver the tools for you to use toward higher consciousness, and these are several of them. If there’s anything that seems vague about it, let me know and I’ll try to clarify what’s puzzling you.
In the meantime, get to work. Get yourself a youtube account if you don’t have one, and start making videos the easy way — point a cellphone at yourself or sit in your own zoom meeting and hit the “record” button.
If you don’t know the rest of that drill, you might consider attending one of our morning group zoom meetings at 6:30 am pacific time, seven days a week. Saturday and Sunday are both two-hour meetings, lasting until about 8:30.
Shorts have a peculiar aspect about them — they can easily run into the millions of views, but you have to hit it really lucky, like any lottery.
At the moment, shorts can’t be monetized and don’t count toward qualifying to make your channel monetized, but in a few months, you’ll be able to get that income, and it can be pretty hefty, if the hits are in the millions.
If you just want to get information across, make the ordinary widescreen HD video and be happy with 40 or 50 views, all of which will be people you know.
In order to make this work, you need an active group of 20 or more to reinforce each other’s video channels, and you need a plan, which you can learn at our meetings, as I’ve already mentioned.
If you ever hope to get the millions of hits, you’ll need to know the language of marketing and it wouldn’t hurt to also know what makes people tick.
Of course, there’s the let-down when you discover that there’s really no one there. That’s the surprise everyone gets — it’s lonely at The Top.
See You At The Top!!!
