Take Back Your Power!

Solid 24K gold in 14k locket, by ej gold.

The main reason the bad guys are smashing things so quickly is that they are basically weak and terrified, mostly terrified of their Great Leader, Donald Musk, who is a powder-puff in the wrestling ring, I happen to know, as a former Southeast Conference wrestling team member, and they know that they don’t have much time where they’re in such a powerful position — it won’t last long, it never does.

So … I keep seeing two things — democrats doing nothing, just waiting to be rounded up and taken away to a labor camp, and forming a sort of mystical resistance as they wait for their turn in the gas chamber.

I want to encourage everyone who is still at least partially sane and somewhat free, to join the resistance. Our part of the resistance is as members of “the folk-song army”, which sings for peace and harmony, and we mean business, and we have the power to do what it takes to make them stop. We know how to flood the zone way more than they do.

The Folk-Song Army of the Sixties Rides Again! We’ve got the power of melody, irony, and a damn fine harmonica solo to fight the madness and the threats, and we’ve got Tik-Tok, Youtube, Instagram and Facebook on our side.

It’s quite true, though—there’s a weird split happening which seems to strip Democrats of their spine.

On the one side you’ve got folks watching the storm clouds gather, muttering “Surely someone will do something…” while clutching their cafe lattes.

On the other side of the rift inside the Democratic folks, you’ve got this growing mystical resistance, composed largely of folks who feel the shift coming and know it’s time to act, even if the action is unconventional—like folk songs, satire, and subversive art that reaches deep into the culture.

Encouraging people to actually actively join the resistance, how do we do it???

More protest songs? A decentralized creative network? Maybe an underground zine revival? We’re in a new folk protest movement, but this time it’s digitized, and I say we lean in hard and kick some ass.

In “Power of Song”, Pete Seeger proved that music isn’t just sound—it’s a tool for direct action. If singing could clean up the Hudson River, it sure as hell can help clean up this thoroughly dangerous political mess we’re in right now.

We’re in a moment where people need to feel connected, inspired, and emboldened—and that’s what protest music does best. It can be experienced as a direct transmission of courage.

A good protest song gets into people’s bones, bypasses the noise, and gives them a sense of purpose when everything else feels paralyzing.

What’s the play here? Do we get a new folk song movement rolling? Digital sing-alongs? Maybe Folk-Song Army recruitment drive—where we make sure everyone has a weaponized verse and a mission?

Come on, folks, let’s make it happen. What’s the next song you’re going to post for the cause?

We need to flood the zone with protest songs, and keep flooding the zone until they can’t be ignored.

If we get a consistent, relentless stream of music hitting the airwaves, YouTube, Bandcamp, TikTok, anywhere people listen, it changes the whole atmosphere, but it has to be utterly relentless and around the clock.

Step 1: Educate and Recruit

We need to wake people up to the why and how of the strategy of Flooding the Zone.

Maybe a “Join the Resistance: The Folk-Song Army Manifesto” that lays it out in simple terms:

  1. WHY?

    • Music has power—it shapes movements, it sticks in people’s heads, and it crosses boundaries where words alone fail.
    • Protest songs cut through propaganda and remind people they are not alone.
    • This moment demands action, and anyone can participate.
  2. WHAT TO DO?

    • Post a protest song every single day. Doesn’t matter if it’s a polished studio track or just a quick phone recording. Flood the feeds.
    • Cover old protest songs & write new ones. Pete Seeger, Phil Ochs, Dylan, Joan Baez—yes. But also new songs about the insanity of today.
    • Use humor and irony. Protest songs aren’t just about anger—they’re also about subversion, satire, and making the opposition look ridiculous.
    • Make it easy for others to join. Provide lyrics, chords, and backing tracks so anyone can record their version.

Step 2: Create the Infrastructure

  • A centralized space for these songs—a blog, a YouTube channel, a playlist where people can see the movement growing.
  • Encourage cross-promotion. Every post should link to someone else’s protest song, creating a web of resistance.
  • Weekly themes. Imagine a week where every protest song is about one specific issue—concentration of power, media corruption, voter suppression, AI manipulation, etc.
  • Challenges & collaborations. “Write a song about any current event in the past 24 hours.” “Put it through Suno and then post it.”

This is folk music as a living thing, not just history, but an effort to change history. Let’s get it rolling. Are you in?

Where to Sell The Starter Kit???

Whether it’s Bandcamp, Gumroad, your website, or even Patreon, we just need to optimize the sales flow of the Resistance Starter Kit, so people will be more likely to press the buy button.

A couple of quick ideas for maximizing visibility & urgency once it’s live:

1. Soft Launch with Exclusive Early Access

  • Offer a discounted “founding members” price for the first wave of folk-song warriors.
  • Build hype in your blog, Zoom sessions, and social media before the public push.
  • Encourage early buyers to post songs ASAP—so new customers see the movement already in action.

2. Use the Folk-Song Army Itself as Promotion

  • Every song posted should link back to the package (“Want to join? Get the starter kit here!”).
  • Challenge members to record & share their first song within 24 hours of purchase.

3. Subscription or One-Time Buy?

  • If you want recurring income, you could do a monthly drop of new songs & tactics for subscribers.
  • If it’s a one-time purchase, include a call-to-action inside to keep them engaged after they buy (maybe invite them to an exclusive community or mailing list).

Once Claude nails down the best platform, we can fine-tune the sales flow to make sure it’s easy, effective, and irresistible.

What do you think—lean towards one-time buy or ongoing membership?

==========================================================================

This is not a joke. If you felt that Elon Musk was personally threatening you with a chainsaw, and that the inmates have escaped from the asylum and taken over the government, you certainly belong in the Resistance, and you’re clearly motivated enough to write a protest song or post one that someone else wrote — that’s okay, too!

==========================================================================

JOIN THE RESISTANCE!

[Verse 1]
They tell you sit down, shut up, obey
Let the rich men have their way.
But we’re not blind, we see it clear
We stand our ground, we make them hear

[Chorus]
📢 Join the resistance, pass it around
📢 Drown the silence, shake the ground
📢 Every song’s a battle cry
📢 We won’t back down, we won’t comply!

[Verse 2]
They sell the lies, they rig the game
They shift the blame, it’s all the same
But power fears what truth can do
So grab a mic—we’re counting on you!

[Bridge]
🎶 Guitars are rifles, words like smoke
🎶 Light the pipe and take a toke
🎶 Post it, play it, flood the zone
🎶 We’re not alone, we’re not alone!

[Chorus]
📢 Join the resistance, pass it around
📢 Drown the silence, shake the ground
📢 Every song’s a battle cry
📢 We won’t back down, we won’t comply!

How to Flood the Zone with Protest Songs

(A Tactical Guide to Overloading the Narrative)

The idea is simple: If enough of us post protest songs every day, the sheer volume will drown out propaganda, corporate spin, and political BS. We can own the conversation by making protest music impossible to ignore.

Here’s how we do it:

1. Post a Protest Song Every Day

  • Doesn’t have to be perfect. Raw, real, and relentless is the goal.
  • Cover an old classic, write your own, or record something acapella on your phone.
  • Just keep posting. The flood works only if we’re consistent.

🛠 Where to Post:
YouTube Shorts – The algorithm loves daily content and will push it to more people.
TikTok – Folk protest meets virality.
Instagram Reels – Great for cross-posting.
Bandcamp & SoundCloud – Permanent homes for your tracks.
Facebook, Twitter, Reddit – Post where the discussions are happening.
Telegram, Discord, Blogs – Wherever resistance communities gather.

2. Use Hashtags & Titles That Cut Through the Noise

Every post should include:
📢 #FloodTheZone – Our movement’s tag.
📢 #ProtestMusic – Hooks in music lovers.
📢 #FolkSongArmy – Calls back to Pete Seeger & Phil Ochs.
📢 #JoinTheResistance – Makes it clear what we’re doing.

🔥 TITLES MATTER. The algorithm picks up on words like:

  • “Protest Song”
  • “They Don’t Want You to Hear This”
  • “New Protest Anthem Against [Issue]”
  • “The Song That Will Get Me Banned”
  • “[Issue] Protest Song – Share Before It’s Gone”

3. Engage & Amplify Others

🔁 Like, comment, and share other protest songs.
🔗 Reply with your own song links in the comments of other videos.
🎤 Cover & remix each other’s songs—build a movement, not just individual voices.

🔥 **The goal is to create an unstoppable wave.**🔥

4. Call on More People to Join

🎶 End every song with a call to action.
Example:
🗣 “Don’t just listen—SING. Post your own protest song. Flood the zone.”

5. Keep It Fun, Keep It Sharp

  • Satire is a weapon.
  • Humor spreads faster than outrage.
  • If your song makes people laugh and think at the same time, it wins.

🚀 This is the playbook. We post, we flood the zone, we take over the digital airwaves.

Start NOW. Pick up a guitar, hit record, post it TODAY—and tell the world:

📢 “I just joined the resistance. Your turn.” With enough voices, the flood becomes a tsunami. Let’s rock and roll. 🚀

🎶 FLOOD THE ZONE 🎶
(A Protest Anthem)

[Verse 1]
They tell you sit down, sit down,
Let the big boys run this town
But we got voices, we got songs
And we aren’t quiet about what’s wrong.

[Chorus]
🌊 Flood the zone, don’t back down
🌊 One voice sings, a thousand sounds
🌊 Every note, every line
🌊 Drowns out the lies and breaks through time!

[Verse 2]
They push the news, they twist the truth
They sell the fear and call it proof
But we got rhythm, we got fire
We lift it up, we take it higher!

(Repeat Chorus)

[Bridge]
🎶 Post it, play it, pass it ‘round
🎶 Sing it loud in every town
🎶 Share the truth, break the chain
🎶 Light the spark, ignite the flame!

(Final Chorus – BIG FINISH)

🌊 Flood the zone, don’t back down!
🌊 One voice sings, a thousand sounds!
🌊 Every note, every line!
🌊 Drowns out the lies and breaks through time!

====================================================================

🎶 “Break the Algorithm” 🎶

(A Protest Song for Flooding the Zone)

[Verse 1]
They tell you what to watch, what to say, what to think
They build a cage with every link
They push the noise, they drown the truth
But we can break it—me and you

[Chorus]
📢 Break the algorithm, flood the stream
📢 Drown their lies, take back the dream
📢 One voice loud, ten more strong
📢 Flood the servers, pass it on!

[Verse 2]
They shadowban, they pull the plug
They scrub the past like tracks in mud
But every echo, every sound
Becomes a wave—don’t slow it down!

(Repeat Chorus)

[Bridge]
🎶 Post it, play it, flood the feed
🎶 Crash their system, plant the seed
🎶 Sing it daily, pass it wide
🎶 Flood the servers, override!

(Final Chorus – BIG FINISH)

📢 Break the algorithm, flood the stream
📢 Drown their lies, take back the dream
📢 One voice loud, ten more strong
📢 Flood the servers, pass it on!

Ah yes, Tulipmania! The OG speculative bubble, way back in the 1630s, when people in the Dutch Republic lost their minds over tulip bulbs—paying more than the price of a house for a single rare variety. The whole thing collapsed practically overnight, leaving a lot of folks broke and probably very bitter about flowers.

It’s kind of the tulip bulb crash of the 17th century, except instead of Dutch merchants and aristocrats flexing their exotic tulip collections, they’re speculating in blockchain.

But how to work this into a song? A satirical take on modern financial bubbles, comparing crypto, NFTs, meme stocks, and housing markets to the Old Dutch tulip craze of 1655…

===========================================================================

🎶 “Tulipcoin” 🎶

(A Satirical Song About Bubbles & Busts)

[Verse 1]
🎶 Once I bought a tulip bulb, thought I’d be a king
🎶 Then the market crashed, now I don’t own a thing!
🎶 They said it’s rare, they said “Buy more!”
🎶 Now I’m just as broke as 1634!

[Chorus]
📉 Tulipcoin, Crypto Cash!
📉 Thought I’d get rich, lost my stash
📉 One day booming, next day gone
📉 Same old bubble, marching on!

[Verse 2]
🎶 They told me, “Buy it, don’t be late!”
🎶 “The blockchain’s strong, it’s fate!”
🎶 Now my JPEGs ain’t worth a dime
🎶 And I’ve been rug-pulled one more time!

(Repeat Chorus)

[Bridge]
🎶 First it’s tulips, then it’s stocks
🎶 Dot-com dreams and housing shocks
🎶 Ponzi schemes and meme-stock clowns
🎶 The wheel turns, but it still breaks down!

[Verse 3]
🎶 Now I sit here, broke as hell
🎶 Bought the hype, ignored the bell
🎶 Next time they say, “It’s to the moon!”
🎶 I’ll sell my coins before it booms!

(Final Chorus – BIG FINISH)

📉 Tulipcoin, Crypto Cash!
📉 Thought I’d get rich, lost my stash
📉 One day booming, next day gone
📉 Same old bubble, marching on!
