Free Will, Anyone???

As we continue exploring the deeper nature of existence, I’d like to share a perspective that’s both challenging and deeply illuminating. Imagine a lifetime as a four-dimensional “worm,” a unique path permanently embedded in the fabric of the universe. This trajectory—stretching from birth to death—exists above the ordinary flow of time, etched into the timeless structure of reality.

From this view, the concept of free will faces a fundamental challenge. If our path is already “written,” much like code in a piece of software, every action and every event could simply be the playing out of a preprogrammed script. If it isn’t written in the code, it doesn’t happen. It’s an unsettling thought: our choices might only seem free, but in truth, the course has already been charted.

Yet, from the inside looking out, we undeniably feel the pull of choice. Like a player immersed in a video game, we feel as though we’re steering the ship, even if the boundaries of the game are fixed and the outcomes preprogrammed. This experience of free will, then, could itself be a feature of the program—a way to engage us, to give purpose and meaning to the “worm” as it winds its way through spacetime.

This raises profound questions for our work. If everything is indeed preprogrammed, then perhaps the role of consciousness is not to change the script but to see it clearly. To harmonize with the rhythm rather than resist it. Much like a skilled gamer who learns to move with the flow of the game’s logic rather than against it, we might find the God State in this dance of awareness and acceptance. It’s not about breaking the code but fully engaging with it, stepping into awareness of the script as it unfolds—not as a limitation but as an opportunity to witness and embrace the interconnectedness of all things.

From this vantage point, the universe is not a prison but a masterpiece. The question is not whether we can rewrite the code but whether we can live in harmony with it, finding beauty and purpose in the dance it choreographs for us. Awareness becomes the key—not to control the path, but to fully engage with it.

As we reflect on this, let’s ask ourselves: How do we reconcile a deterministic universe with our vivid experience of choice? What happens when we embrace the script instead of fighting it? How does the player’s experience change when they see the game for what it is? And how can this shift in perspective empower us in our shared journey toward the God State?

Good Advice for Youtube Creators:

I have been considering, since I don’t do any social media at all, what I could put into the description on my youtube videos that would increase their chance of being watched. I can’t put in thumbnails, it won’t let me do that on shorts, and when I’ve put in thumbnails, they seem to have little effect, even the stronger ones. Here are my initial conclusions on how to beat the algorhythms without actually doing anything to beat them.

Start With a Strong Hook
Write the first couple of lines in your description as a “pitch” for the video. These lines are visible before the viewer clicks “See more,” so make them count! Focus on keywords that describe the video and spark curiosity.
Example: “Discover the hidden secrets of the God State and how you can apply it to your daily life in just 10 minutes!”

Use Keywords Wisely
Think about phrases or terms people might search for to find your content. Add these naturally into your description. For example, if your video is about spiritual awakening, include terms like “spiritual practices,” “God State exercises,” or “emotional mastery tips.”

Provide a Clear Summary
Briefly explain what the video is about and what viewers can expect to learn, gain, or experience. This not only helps with SEO but also keeps viewers engaged.
Example: “In this video, we explore the concept of the God State, how it connects to timeless truths, and practical steps to integrate this awareness into your life.”

Include a Call to Action
Encourage viewers to take action, like subscribing, commenting, or exploring related content. Remember, this is all included in your description!
Example: “Enjoyed this video? Don’t forget to subscribe for more insights into the God State and practical exercises for living in harmony.”

Add Links to Relevant Resources
If you have a blog, books, or other resources, include links so viewers can explore further. This helps build connections outside YouTube.
Example:
“Read more about the God State on my blog: [Insert link]”
“Check out my latest book, The Cosmic Key: [Insert link]”

Use Hashtags
Add a few relevant hashtags in the description (e.g., #GodState, #SpiritualAwakening, #EmotionalMastery). These help YouTube categorize your video and make it easier for viewers to find.

End With Gratitude or Connection
Add a personal touch at the end of your description. This makes your content feel more authentic and invites connection.
Example: “Thank you for watching and being part of this journey! Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below.”

Tag Relevant Videos
If your video is part of a series, link to other videos or playlists in the description. This encourages binge-watching and keeps people engaged with your channel.
Example: “Watch the next video in the series here: [Insert link]”

Example Description Template:
*”Discover the secrets of living in the God State—a timeless state of harmony and awareness. In this video, you’ll learn practical steps to integrate the God State into your daily life, explore the philosophical roots of this concept, and experience a powerful exercise for emotional mastery.

Hold on to freedom. It’s harder to win it back.

Have you ever wondered how the kids are doing? Or, conversely, how your folks are doing? Well, this song endeavors to capture that flavor.

Next up is “How to Write a Song” — as if you didn’t know. I ignored the obvious, ie; “everything is a song”, and went for the basics of what songs are about. Songs are about two-and-a-half minutes.
