Actually, that song (Monday Monday) was first recorded in John & Michelle’s garage, and as I seem to recall, it was used as a reference track in the studio, then erased, of course, from the master.
My memory for those long-ago music studio days is somewhat muddled, and I often wonder if I’ve got my facts right — actually, it could have been “Creek” that I heard at that time, but things change, people change.
I’ve been compiling all the albums I’ve done over the past 45 or 50 years, and it comes to a very long list on post-its, about 100 or more, it turns out, that I did before Jimmi came here to work in the studio.
