They sit at a bar with you for, on average, 1000 – 3000 yen, as advertised on their flyers, plus you pay 3000 yen per hour to sit in the bar. Not sure how much the drinks are in addition to that, but it clearly adds up fast enough for there to be thousands of such girls advertising thousands of bars and clubs and such.
Of course, they have no idea that they’re in the Bardo, but then, most folks don’t.
