I’m thinking of running a kind of “drop” bookshop, where I list books as they come up from my library. Most of the books will be of extreme interest to the art market, and many of my books contain bound-in original artworks from the world’s most famous artists.
E.J. Gold – “Cedar Bar Scrapbook” – Folio, 20 pages of rare photos reproduced from the originals, signed and bound in a fancy hardcover “photo album” binding, $450.00.
I have a large assortment of books in my library, most of which are common reading and research, but some are noteworthy collectibles, and it’s those books that I intend to put up on the auction block, so to speak.
