Pointers & Targets
So that’s one way that I use my chatbot, to develop lists and short selling paragraphs for my merch, but I also use it to create my “pointers”, commonly called “PINS”.
Each PIN is wired to a LANDING PAGE or TARGET online, making it a sort of floating mine or corked bottle that, when touched, transports one instantly to a distant space.
So what you do is, you find a nut-grabbing visual, like the ones I use in my PINS, and do like I do — plug it into a URL address halfway across the universe, right into that TARGET page, which can be literally anything.
Whatever exists online is subject to this very personal indignity of being treated as a LANDING PAGE, which depends upon exactly where you want them to end up.
Where you want them to end up is a very important consideration. You need to focus and decide what your TARGETS are going to be.
By the way, you can’t wire more than one PIN to the same URL in a single 24-hour day, if that makes sense to you. It’s not my rule.The whole idea behind what I’m doing with PINS is that it doesn’t really matter what the PIN looks or sounds like.
What you want is something that is COMPELLING and that PIQUES CURIOSITY. That means “arouses curiosity”, in case you don’t have a vocabulary nearby.
All you’re trying to achieve is to get the person to click through to your DESTINATION page, and you shouldn’t much care how you do it, except to be nice and kind and harmless.
Mostly people and pets are the most attractive PIN subjects, but anything will work, if it arouses even mild curiosity. That’s what makes them click.
One advantage that PINTEREST gives the BUSINESS account holder is a fast and clear look at how you’re doing. It’s charted right out there for you to see and try to understand the forces that are at work here.
Not an easy task.
I’ve been working the whole night to get just 14 PINS up, wired to a variety of TARGET internet pages on a variety of websites including zazzle, etsy and more, but the best way to give you an understanding of exactly what I do and how I do it requires your presence in at least one of our morning zoom chats.
