Free Inventory for your Coin Shop

I spoke too soon…or too late. The other day, I warned that serious consequences would happen soon related to the US penny; well, the day is here already, and it’s too late to do anything about it. Here’s what’s actually happening: People are hoarding copper pennies, thinking that the US government will soon authorize their melt-down, and they’re probably right. What that means is that there will be no pennies in circulation before 1982. That’s the functional end of free coin searches. With any luck, you have a maximum of a year, before you can’t experience FREE coin searches anymore. Of course, if you buy a bag of coins at a premium, you can get the experience that way…sort of. Thing is, circulating currency is different from vintage currency that’s supposedly “unsearched”, yet they know which dates they are…hmmmmm…. Anyhow, here’s how you can get FREE inventory for your coin shop, right at your local bank!!!

First of all, you have to know exactly what you’re looking for, and how to see it when it pops up on your examination table. This is not as easy as it sounds, although everyone when they start out think they’re actually seeing something in front of them, something that resembles a coin. The fact is that it will take at least a month before you actually see a coin.

That’s the Zen of Coins, about which we’ll talk a lot at tomorrow’s ICW. Along with the Zen Practice, I’ll introduce a way to use your shop-time more productively than you ever imagined possible, and it’ll make the hours you spend in a shop much more tolerable.

I used to make jewelry and paint in our shop window. People came in as a result.

Today, I’d be sorting coins. Most people are conditioned when they see a coin shop to come in with some 10 karat gold, demanding 14 karat retail prices for their used jewelry. Someone told them that the guy who made the thing is very famous and that it would someday be worth even more than they paid for it, and they believed him.

Oh, well.

Anyhow, there’s a very simple way to amass a large amount of retail inventory. You do a coin search, but you have to know exactly what you’re looking for, and how to spot it when it pops up.

That’s it. That’s the whole plan.

I’ll get into details at the ICW. I recommend running Lucky Buddha before the ICW tomorrow. Lucky Buddha goes well with coin searches, as you’ll see from Yanesh’s latest video, where I get dozens of high-grade early dates from fresh rolls right out of our local bank! You won’t believe your eyes, but that’s my luck every time I do a search!!!

See You At The Top!!!
