Authentic Moldavite is the result of a huge meteorite crashing into the Earth 14.8 billion years ago, at roughly 20,000 miles per hour, over the Bohemian plateau of the Czech Republic.. Moldavite will typically have inclusions of gas bubbles and other inclusions within the stone, which is what makes it so magical, and therefore so desirable.
