Surviving Nuclear War

Murry the Mummy at the Hollywood Magical Mystery Museum, 1969

Surviving nuclear war is eminently possible unless you’re within a few feet of Ground Zero. You can certainly survive the initial burst of gamma radiation if you’re a few miles away — you’ll survive all right, but you aren’t going to like it, nor will you live for very long — not only because of radiation, but weather and crops and animal life along the chain. Most species will die out, especially humans, who are very dependent on crops and other earth-exploitations.

Still, survival is possible, if you happen to be in a clear area, but eventually the weather patterns will catch up with any short-term survivors.

Perhaps it’s best to go with the blast.

But don’t worry too much about Nuclear War, when Race War, Religious War, Gender Wars, Civil Wars and General Civil Unrest abound — war will be at the core of the 21st century, pretty much like the civil wars and bands of criminals that follow every collapse of organized civilization, bringing darkness and suppression for, generally, about six centuries.

Speaking of Christmas Marketing, golly whiz, I almost forget to mention my Christmas Gift Line, which I shall put together forthwith, that is to say, right now before your very eyes.

Brass & Canvas

At a mere $20 bucks a pair, you’re already a winner! THEY’RE SIGNED!

Tonight, I’ve been making SIGNED & DATED hand-embossed brass earrings at $20 a pair, so they can be resold at $39.95. At the moment, I’ll be selling them faster than I can photo them.

If that’s not the case, I’ll simply stopĀ  making them. Frankly, I don’t believe there’s any market at this time for anything, especially for ancient style anythings. It’s junk, junk, junk, and plastic rules the waves, not Britannia. Continue reading

Got a Minute?

that’s right, only $20 a pair – handmade, signed & dated.

One minute — that’s all it will take to explain my latest side-hustle, “The Brass Spiral”, a set of earrings created out of an embossed sheet-brass free-form, anywhere from 2 1/2″ to 3 1/2″ in length, absurdly long for the average earring-wearer.

These take confidence to wear — however, the price is unbelievably right! I’m charging only $20 a pair for these things. Continue reading

Turn $8.50 into $10,000.00

Copper and EMO Beads Six-Worlds Mala is easy and inexpensive to make.

That’s what I said. Turn an $8.50 roll of ordinary copper hardware store variety copper wire into upwards of $10,000.00 worth of valuable and desirable merch.

Listen, If you play your cards right, you could open a full-scale coppersmith’s jewelry shop in a matter of just a few hours. You could literally be an overnight success, and here’s how.

This 400-page fully illustrated “How-To” manual is for stone-age artisans only — you’ll be using the simplest tools, tools that were in daily use over 7,000 years ago, making designs that have not been seen for thousands of years. The ancient is new again!

99% of all commercial jewelers will have no idea how you did it — how you made rings out of wire, bracelets and necklaces out of wire and all sorts of earrings of every description and level of complexity or simplicity.

You will be a veritable factory of jewelry design, able to compete at any level and, when you get really good at it, you can graduate yourself to sterling silver and eventually 18k gold.

Of course, you’ll need a reputation in order to get the best prices — there are many hints on how to use social media to promote your productions, and you can get help at our ZOOM “Chain Gang” meetings where we make chain online together.

You can ask any question you like. As a matter of fact, I’d like to invite you right now to attend our very next linking workshop. Contact me for time and password.

See You At The Top!!!

Destroy First, Then Read

This is a very important message, but then, so are they all. Take a good look at the charm bracelet above. The coins could be anything from ancient to modern, any denomination and any mintage.

The coins are mounted on a handmade bracelet. You’ll note that the clasp is in place — you can find out how to mount clasps on handmade chains by going to my ejgoldguru channel on youtube, or you can attend a class or two on ZOOM if you like. Continue reading

What is a Wayback Machine???

Most people don’t walk around in a necklace made with genuine antiquities, and most folks don’t know the difference between an antique and an antiquity, and furthermore, most folks don’t know that they’re even allowed to own a genuine ancient item.

Very few people have ever had the experience of walking around wearing something ancient, something worn in ancient times by someone who lived thousands of years ago.

Perhaps that person was you.

My 49 Jewelry Basics

x
Handmade Moldavite Earring & Ring Set in .925 Solid Sterling Silver.

My Top 49 Jewelry Basics:

This is a set of basic stuff you really need to know if you plan to make and sell jewelry at home. Take a closer look at the photo above, and note that it’s all made from wire and beads — no solder, no casting.

Solder-free jewelry is impossible, unless it’s cast, and both are things I’d rather not do, especially for money, so I developed my line of wire-made jewelry, including wire-linked necklaces and bracelets, and wire-wrapped meteorites and other gemstones.

Gemstones are not typically drilled large enough to allow wire to pass through them, so I have to find gemstone suppliers who are willing and able to drill my stones just a wee bit wider, enough to accommodate a .16 gauge copper, silver or 18k gold wire.

By the way, jewelry-grade wire is already polished, so all it needs is a gentle rub, unless you’ve butchered the metal beyond simple polishing.

Beads as Money — Beads were the first money. Until then, about 50,000 B.C., any exchange was strictly in livestock, food, skins, weapons — some sort of trade or barter. The hole in a bead made it easy to carry on a string or leather thong, so you didn’t have to bury it near your home under the third fencepost as usual. Certain rare beads had definite values, such as seashells in an inland community with no seaport or ocean access. Common early “money” beads were made of bone, shell, wood, and some larger seeds or seed-pods. In some parts of the world, beads are still money, and some beads can bring many thousands of dollars, and even millions of dollars, at public auctions. Continue reading

Astonishing New Radio Robot Jewelry

Radio Robot is a combination of crystal radio technology and cartoon animation.
Radio Robot is a combination of crystal radio technology and cartoon animation.

Yes, it’s here, and I feel almost “led” to them by a higher force, possibly a Marketing Angel, so I’m presenting them, for what it’s worth. What is a Radio Robot? I’ll try my best to explain:

It all starts with the preparation of the plate, where I roll out the metal prior to embossing. This has to be done right, or the piece doesn’t come out imbued. The rollout process is something akin to rolling out the bakery dough — that’s where you imbue with prayer and blessings, all within this single process.

Then comes the embossing, final clean-roll and of course, the mounting in a capsule, flip or silver or 14k gold bezel, or on a backboard as a lightweight and inexpensive earring set, but that doesn’t explain what the Radio Robot is and does.

The Radio Robot design is an incorporation of a simplified crystal radio circuit that would actually work if it existed in radio component parts and, of course, it does — it’s what makes the SuperBeacon and every other crystal radio apparatus function, which is a detector and tuning mechanism within the receiving radio circuit.
