What is a Metro Gnome?

Clearly, a metro gnome is a small creature who sometimes travels by Parisian subway, but that’s not important right now.

What is important right now is that I’m experimenting with my latest LM product, ie; a podcast, with two imaginary people exclaiming about our coinology stuff, which I extracted from a 2012 blog on this very site. You can read it for yourself — it’s the basis for the podcast, which is in the nature of an experiment to see if the podcast format is going to work for us.

Podcast Description:
“Step into the fascinating world of coin collecting, history, and the stories behind rare treasures! In this episode of our podcast, we revisit a blog from 2012, these many years ago, in order to uncover how coins can reveal untold secrets of the past. Whether you’re a seasoned numismatist or just curious about the value and significance of coins, this episode is packed with insights on rare finds, market trends, and the cultural importance of coinage. Tune in to explore the art, history, and economics etched into every coin.”

I was hoping to be able to show you the podcast on youtube, but it’s taking a full three hours to upload — there are many dozens of photos — but I can show it at our zoom meeting, if you like, before we go on to the video tour Bardo bus,  now boarding on Gate Gate Paragate Parasamgate Bodhi Svaha.
