What I’m wondering about most this morning is, can I discover anything that a lot of people would like to buy at a comfortably low price? I don’t care to make money from it, just a lot of participation, that’s my goal, and I’m not looking for followers or subscribers, just a single simple participation, that’s all.
So what would it be that I could produce cheaply, and how would I — with no money and no influence and no social register whatever — get it in front of the faces of millions of eager buyers?
Well, one sure-fire way is to insert five golden cards in the candy bar wrapping, just five in all, no more, and let it be known that there is a gigantic prize for the winners, an entire city of chocolate makers!
But what if you don’t happen to have a giant candy factory available at the moment? What do you do then?
Well, the prize has to be at least that big, so give up the idea of putting a prize in a few of the retail product packages, like an original Honus Wagner sports card or a lifetime pass to the Playboy Club.
If you want to strike up a conversation or invite a question, there’s no better way than to wear a bumper sticker, balloon or badge, although the badge is the most practical in most cases, I would think.
Badges are also called “buttons”, and they come in square or round format. I’ve been working mostly with square buttons tonight, and they’re all on zazzle.
Can you find them all?
Well, I see by the old clock on the wall — actually, it’s a mantle clock sitting on my bass reflex speaker on my desk — that it’s that time again, time to go into the house and munch some breakfast.
I have in fact been fasting, but only between snacks.
See You At the Top!!!
