When you cross over into the Afterlife, the first thing you’ll notice is a complete absence of any city traffic sounds you’ve been hearing all day and night every day and night, if you live in New York City.
You get used to it — everything, including sirens, millions of horns honking angrily at passing pigeons — and all that pandemonium and general ruckus fades quickly into the background.
When you’re relaxed with the explosive environment, you’re ready to continue your journey, and that’s what we’re going to be working with this holiday workshop that starts on Saturday morning at 6:30 am.
If you were one of the lucky ones that managed to ride through one of our Reno Runs, you know all-too-well that the explosions don’t last, and the blasting radiation is soon part of the background noise, and that’s what we’re going to try to achieve, even in our daily lives, and the singular way you’re going to be able to do this is to teach yourself some Good Bardo Habits.
There aren’t very many Good Bardo Habits — the Big 3 will certainly do for the Time Being, who isn’t in any hurry. That’s all the Time Being has, is time.
So let’s look at one Great Law that almost everyone instantly recognizes to be true:
“Wherever you go, there you are.”
This goes hand-in-glove with the popular saying, “Everybody has to be somewhere.”
Well, of course that’s not ALWAYS true, but it serves as a general guide when you’re slamming around in the Outer Spheres, particularly around Planet Earth, which is indeed a planet, but in relation to the Sun, “Sol”, happens to also be a Solar Moon, “Solar Moon Earth”.
Moving slightly outside the frequency range of your planetary body, you get into the General Field, and that means a certain limited degree of freedom of travel.
Wherever you go, there you are — turns out to be a handy guarantee that you’ll end up wherever you are, wherever that is.
We’re not going to try to achieve specific results with a rebirth, like living the life of Albert Einstein or Raquel Welch. It’s important to emphasize that this method works best when you simply dedicate yourself to The Teaching and The Work.
In short, set your “Destination” tag to “Wherever the Work Needs Me”. This could bring some very unpleasant results, but will never fail to advance you along The Path.
If you think back along your lifeline, you’ll come across a few incidents and events that could have been total calamity, but somehow, they didn’t.
You slipped through, dancing between the raindrops like Gene Kelly on a water-enabled movie set.
If you understand how habit works, you get it — you manage to squidge around the couch, past the floor lamp, around the dining room table and somehow you negotiate your body around your living and working and playing and relaxing spaces.
It’s habit that does most of that work every day. You don’t have to re-learn every move, and that’s what habit is, strictly speaking — it’s a mechanical device inside your planetary presence, that does most of the thinking during your waking hours, and you can depend on those habits to carry you through the day, but it’s not just the day that they’ll carry you through — it’s YOU that they’ll carry through.
Some habits die the moment you cross over, some don’t. It’s some of the habits that carry over when you pass over that we’ll want to work with.
Number one, notably, are The Movements.
Keep in mind that there are a number of habits we want to address, and that different Practices develop different Astral Muscles.
The Guitar Practice opens a different set of doors, and the same thing goes for all the variety of Practices, not all of which are useful for everyone.
Being selective in your personal choice of Daily Practices makes customization possible, and makes your journey better for yourself and others.
Several folks have mentioned that it’s hard for them to decide which practices to use every day, so I plan to have a general discussion about your personal choices of daily practices, and we’ll do that during today’s 6:30 am workshop on ZOOM.
If you don’t have the address, get in touch and we’ll get the info to you immediately or sooner.
Body habits, those of the physical organic body, don’t travel well, and seldom appear in Afterlife scenarios.
Essential Habits, however, including Tendencies, will definitely alter your course and could easily help or hinder, depending on your ability to remain focused on preparing yourself for Higher Life in a Higher Dimension.
The Essential Habits are those that you’re trying to develop, and they can’t be developed unless you exercise them, just like the gymnasium, see?
Pumping up certain areas, like compassion and service, can create very powerful Essential Habits that will certainly propel you through some of the tougher zones of the Afterlife Experience.
Your ability to see and remember what’s happening will be radically altered by passage, and you’d better get used to how it looks in a much higher frequency, with much smaller waves.
Eventually, you should emerge completed into the Causal Plane, where there’s plenty of work to be done, and you’re expected there, along with the rest of your party, which is commonly referred to as your “Soul Group”.
You’ll find plenty to do to prepare yourself for your further adventures up the ladder of consciousness, and more responsibilities can be taken on in our online Ashram.
Again, I’ll leave details to the workshop discussion.
The Guitar Practice need not be guitar. It could be drum, flute, keyboard, santur, sarod, bouzouki, blues harmonica or kazoo — you name it — the general fundamental idea is the same, and the basis of the practice easily transfers from one instrument to another.
There are a few more lines of work, but only a very few that everyone will want to use, and the others will be according to various needs and circumstances in which one finds oneself.
In short, you only take on what daily practices you actually need. I know what you’re thinking — sound just like automobile insurance. Well, that’s what it is!
Let’s sort out the daily practices and get them more efficient and effective!sd
See You At The Top!!!
