Here are some suggestions for “target landing pages” that should and could be heavily marketed and would produce good results for us:

I’ll post another page to give you more of an idea of what I have in mind. The goal is to sell more books, both paperback and digital.
There are so many promotional targets from which to choose, but here’s one that I think will do well, once promoted properly.
This photo isn’t the one I’d use to promote the amulets. I’d get some help here in designing the thumbnail that should be used here.

Now along with those website landing pages, I have some video promotion also in mind. Some are more obvious than others.
This video got 112,461 views so far, and it gets a LOT of views per day every single day, making my stats go through the roof for this channel.
This video got 111,479 views, and still going strong. There are a surprising number of sculpture fanatics who want to build an armature for less than $10 bucks, and this is is.
Here’s my big ass-kicker, 10,000 Baal Runs to Level 99, which got a whalloping quarter of a million “yes” votes, actually 259,631 views to date, and rising every day.
This one got 191,660 views, and if you add just these few videos up, you get around a million views, and that’s WITHOUT promotion!
If you stick something in front of peoples’ faces, you’ll get results. If you don’t, it’s as if the thing didn’t exist.
Now a couple of considerations here.
Number one, video promotions are cheaper and involve many more people than book promotions or website promotions or product promotions.
They just do.
But — video promotions reach more people and are far cheaper to send out there, and they can contain the sales pitch either as the video itself or as a voice-over or titles over.
The book promotions are best done with sites that will feature your video or your book somewhere on their site, but that won’t translate into many book sales.
What WILL make sales are your e-books, kindle and such, that you can get out there. I’m planning to record a lot of readings of my works, which can be used for marketing them.
I’m looking to get going on these promotions real soon, and I hope you’ll join me in the effort to expand our circle and get our work materials into more hands while we’re still around to do it.
Coordination is necessary. Don’t just run around posting things — it won’t help. Best results will be obtained if you attend the Think Tank ZOOM sessions and make suggestions and take on responsibility for projects.
Events are also very good to publicize. It’s far too late to do that with tomorrow’s “What is Love – Really?” workshop, but we can set our sights ahead into spring, and maybe someone can come up with a promotion campaign for it.
The title of the spring workshop is “The Easter Bunny Died for your Sins”.
No, that’s silly. It’ll be about the usual, but let’s find some way to express that, shall we? I’ll get back to work here, planning out a promotional campaign strategy, and I hopeĀ you’ll join me in that endeavor.
Some folks offer coaching in video games to make the player better and more able to get higher scores.
That isn’t the goal in our games, but coaching is very important. I’ll be looking for you at this morning’s workshop!
