Trump wants everybody to ignore the corona virus, “Because it will all of a sudden go away,” and he wants YOU to send YOUR kids back to school, even with the high risk of sudden death for students, teachers, administrators and of course, grandparents of said schoolkids.
Okay, let’s for a moment say that it can be done without money, which is how Trump is demanding it be done.
Your kids are in school from, let’s say, 8:30 every day, with no alternate days to lower the numbers of kids in a single classroom at one time.
They are there five days a week, 8:30 am to 2:30 or 3:00 pm.
Fine. Now all you have to do is take care of the loose ends. What loose ends? Here they are, illustrating the extreme stupidity of Donald John (yes, it’s about YOU) Trump:
I’ll be using all caps to indicate that it’s Trumpworld, where everybody shouts and nobody listens:
Trump’s Miscalculations:
- KIDS must be prepped for school.
- Lunch must be prepared unless there’s an official school lunch program.
- Kids must be driven to school or take bus or other public transportation.
- Kids will remain in school until mid-afternoon.
- Kids are picked up at school or driven back on twice as many buses, to keep social distancing.
- Kids must wait at home alone until one or more parent returns from work. This is OK for teens, but not for toddlers.
THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION HAS CANCELED SCHOOL LUNCHES.
THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION HAS CANCELLED ALL AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAMS.
THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION HAS CANCELLED ALL NATIONAL DAYCARE PROGRAMS.
So where in the f*ck are you going to find a job that ends at 2:00, early enough so you can get over to the school and pick up the kids?
This is the calculation that Trump can’t make, and that Trump Republicans are unable to understand.
The only thing “Mashed Potato Head” Donnie will accomplish will be to earn the title of
“American Tyrant-Butcher, which he does in fact come to be called, after the mess is all over and things go ever-further downhill, will be to annihilate an entire generation of young Americans.
It’s what he and Mitch McConnell really want — body count.
Not to worry — Trump can’t even read a memo, let alone plot the end of civilization. It’s not in his hands, it’s in mine, and I’m determined to do what I always do about history.
Leave it alone.

In fact, if it weren’t totally in my face every day, I’d just ignore it.
