Take an “ordinary” penny and put it into a high-energy static electrical field, encapsulate it and surround it with a permeable foamy material, and you have the start of an improvised magical weapon, which can be set up and activated with a Cloud Chamber or any imbuing device.
Let me give you an example…
While I’m doing my ordinary coin search, looking for mint errors, I’ll often find the occasional “oddball” coin, such as the notoriously hard-to-find “rainbow” and “peacock” varieties of naturally-destroyed coins, and many examples of strangeness in the so-called “common coin”, some of which are NOT considered mint errors because the condition was caused by an event AFTER the coin left the mint, such as oxidation and other environmental alterations, some of which can sell for more than the MINT error varieties.
Some amazing effects occur in the minting process, and some of them go unnoticed or uncaught. Thinking in magical terms, the NAME, SHAPE and COLOR are significant, and anyone worth their weight in Kosher salt would know that NUMBER is even MORE significant in the lexicon of Quantum Magic, which is my specialty, along with IMPROVISED magical weapons, which is what you have to do if you’re ever stranded or marooned on an outlying backward planet such as Earth.
Here’s a partial list of MINT ERRORS that work magically to create an IMBUED MEDALLION, which can be carried, held or gesture-woven in an air-pattern.
- STRUCK-THROUGH — plating is gone in spots from the strike, not due to wear.
- BROAD-STRUCK — there is a wide collar of flattened metal around the image.
- DOUBLE MINT-MARK — the mintmark has been doubled.
- DOUBLE-STRUCK — the planchet was hit twice.
- CLIPPED — one or several portions or “bites” out of the planchet before the strike.
- OFF-CENTER — seriously off-center image related to planchet center.
- OFFSET — less serious off-centering of image.
- PARTIAL COLLAR — Almost a broad-struck, but not quite there.
- TRASH IN PLANCHET — usually results in a RAISED line through the image.
- SPLIT BEFORE STRIKE — the lamination failed but the coin was struck perfectly.
- LAMINATION ERROR — the lamination failed in some way less than catastrophically.
- MACHINE DOUBLING — often mistaken for doubled die, but very useful magically.
- CHERRY RED — fine deep vivid redness, not a trace of brown or dullness.
- GEM CIRCULATED — rare state of a circulated business coin.
- GEM PROOF — uncirculated proof issue apart from the commercial business release.
- PLATING ERROR — plating failed or partially failed to cover the laminated blank.
- 3-COIN BONDED — triple coins bonded in the minting process.
- DOUBLED DIE — the most revered of all possible mint errors other than uniques.
- DOUBLED DIE REVERSE — same as obverse, with quite obvious magical uses.
- CAMEO — special case of coin that has very powerful magical applications.
- BRIGHT UNCIRCULATED — clearly a great magical device for being brighter.
- HIGHEST IN GRADE — self-explanatory.
- FINEST REGISTRY — this is where the item has been duly registered, a powerful ally.
Then there are the obvious commercial products with this coin technology in gaming mode.

Now, how exactly, are these things used? You gotta read the label. What does “struck-through” mean to you in a relationship or a job or at school?
How about “broad-struck”? What concept does that engender? And Double-struck could happen to anyone in love or at work or trying to come up with a new marketing idea?
“Double-struck” is obvious as a binding or bonding, and “Clipped” means something to anyone who has been grounded for a week without a tv set or an iphone. Total hell, right?
“Line-through” has deep significance as a moment’s glance and consideration will reveal, and “split before strike” can be used in a variety of interesting ways to produce a wide spectrum of psychic results.
“Lamination Error” is useful when there was a pairing that failed, and “Machine Doubling” is a curse strictly reserved for robots and zombies, meaning most of the human race until the rise of consciousness that has been called for by the Higher Ups, whenever that happens.
BONDING MEDALLION — 1970-s DOUBLED DIE — There are exactly 49 of these RARE and seldom-seen in this condition, mint error 1970-s doubled-die obverse Lincoln Cents in such FANTASTIC condition. They are available AS A MEDALLION ONLY, at a lousy ten bucks (U.S. $10) apiece, while they last. Probably NOT repeatable in the near future, although who knows??? There would have been 50, but I’m keeping one of these incredibly lucky coins for my collection.
Bonding errors can be repaired, and doubled anything doubles whatever, if you’re following the magical formulaic reasoning. If not, you’ve got a long climb up the hill.
So how about a communications repair that melds people across racial lines, social lines, age and gender lines and removes “different-ness” from the equation. Every single person who carries one of these will add to the NET EFFECT, covering the globe with the powerful intention to produce a RAINBOW RACE where color, creed and other differences vanish without a trace.
The only hangup with this plan is the sheer impossibility of getting these into the hands of every single human being on the face of the Earth, but we can try. Start with one. That’s the solution to any and all of your insurmountable problems. Start with one. Just do it.
